Dr. Traver Sopoci
Prior to chiropractic care from Dr. Sopoci, I had severe pain and numbness in my arms and hands. I was referred to him by my client and had never really been to a chiropractor for help. I had seen maybe two in the receiving treatment for my neck but only three or four times, over the years. I was approaching possibly surgery when Dr. Sopoci came into our lives. It has affected my life in an overall inner body change, meaning my body and past trauma along with the way I am thinking, meaning mind healing too. With Dr. Sopoci working with me over the past six months I am now back to teaching piano and playing piano without the pain in my arms. My health has changed since seeing Dr. Sopoci in such positive way without surgery, medications, etc. It is a blessing! Feeling stronger, healthier, and gaining more knowledge on how the nervous system works. Also how positive energy and the mind affects the body and it's functioning properly. On top of that, how one part affects the other and can break the system down. I have always been very active with exercise and I would say overall healthy diet. Stressed at times and overloaded was my problem, also. Dr. Sopoci has opened my eyes to many facts about how the body works with emotional/mental and exercises that really work! He is a blessing to my family, for my son had full-blown knee surgery last year. He has had treatment to the knee and overall body, with Dr. Sopoci and the pain of scar tissue, etc. has improved. He plays high school football and gets a treatment before his games. I plan along with my son to continue with Dr. Sopoci for adjustments and just overall health to prevent injuries or problems that could occur. I never imagined how chiropractic care could change my life!

Three years ago my family's life changed. Out of the blue, our daughter, who had just turned 14 at the time, began experiencing severe symptoms of vertigo (spinning dizziness) and tinnitus (ear ringing). Although she had experienced severe allergies from birth and asthma since the age of six; this was something new. After undergoing numerous diagnostic tests that all came back "normal" and seeing 18 different doctors; we still had no answers. Even though we diligently followed each doctor's orders; nothing seemed to help at all.
Meanwhile, our daughter was failing behind in her school work, and she evetually ended up being placed in the Homebound Program with a teacher coming to our home to work with her as she was no longer able to attend school. Our once straight A student was now struggling to keep her grades up, not to mention how devastating it was for her not being able to attend school with her friends.
After a friend suggested that consider trying chiropractic care; we were in attendance at a health fair where we were fortunate enough to meet Dr. Traver Sopoci. After talking with him and learning that he had also experienced some health issues in the past; he seemed to truly understand what we were going through. Unlike most of the other doctors that we had seen, he really seemed to listen and made us feel comfortable. Our family began seeing him on a regular basis and before long; our daughter was noticing some relief with the severity of her symptoms.
Dr Traver does an excellent job of explaining and teaching about what he is doing and why, as well as making suggestions in such a way that is not intimidating or judgmental. We have learned so much from him about making better choices and seeking a healthier lifestyle. He always has such a positive attitude and concern, kindness, and compassion that he shows is truly remarkable. He is continually seeking different ways and trying new things to help his patients. Because of him, our daughter has been able to start doing more things that she loves, and she now has more good days than bad days.
We are just now beginning our third year at Family Focus Chiropractic. It is difficult to put in words what a huge blessing Dr. Traver has been to our entire family, especially our daughter. Obtaining wellness chiropractic care has been one of the best decisions we have made for our family. We are extremely grateful for everything that Dr. Traver does to keep us well and healthy!

Before coming to see Dr Traver, I suffered from fully active Graves Disease (autoimmune hyperthyroidism). Over the course of the last 10 months, I have seen a steady and improved change in my thyroid levels. Under the nutritional direction, chiropractic attention, and laser treatments, my overall health is much better than before as well. Our family trusts Dr. Traver with our family's wellness, preventative and specialized care. Dr. Traver spends time with his clients. He listens so that he can personalize care for his clients on individual basis. My history of hand difficulties began the year prior to seeing Dr. Traver Sopoci. I had carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist, and trigger finger in my right, middle finger. These were both operated on the summer of 2008. I resumed generally normal function but still experienced tenderness in the the palm at the surgery sites and had scar tissue which caused loss of flexibility.
Following the surgery I was unable to use the right hand for quite a few weeks. This forced me to use my left hand in ways I was not accustomed to and this led to DeQuervain's Tendonitis developing in the left wrist, down into the thumb, and up the inner area of my arm. It was extremely painful and debilitating. Shortly afterwards I also noticed trigger finger starting in my right thumb. This eventually got so bad that I could not move the thumb at all, it was completely stiff. It would occasionally get bumped and "pop" into a bent position which would cause me tremendous pain and it would have to be forced back into a straight position. I would feel as if I was going to pass out when this would happen.
When I first consulted with Dr. Sopoci, I was experiencing severe pain and loss of movement in both hands from these conditions. I had been unable to cook, clean, or do many day-to-day tasks for quite a few months. Both hands were required just to turn the ignition key when I started my car. I was a mess, and dealing with emotional depression because of it.
A friend and her family are patients of Dr. Sopoci, and she suggsted I go see him. She really thought, based on her own experience of back issuses he had been treating, that he could help me. In the first couple of moths that I saw Dr. Sopoci, there wasn't tremendous change. I would occasionally notice a difference and be very encouraged, then feel I had taken a step back. This was the pattern at first. If I had not done a care plan for services, I would probably have given up too soon. I stuck with it.
Praise God I did not give up to soon. Dr. Sopoci's chiropractic treatment is not a "quick fix" pill used to mask problems like so many medical treatments often are. He adjusted me every time for overall wellness and targeted a variety of methods to deal with my hands. Today, after about six months of regular care, I am completely pain free and throughly mobile and back to normal function with both problems I sought help for, and I have been in this condition for a couple of month now.
I needed help with some things Dr. Traver hadn't specifically dealt withbefore but because of his approach to health, his excellent training and experience, and his eagerness to research and find solutions to his patients' problems, he got me back to normal function in just a few months.
I have encouraged many people to consult with him in the past several months because I have every confidence in his ability and desire to help his patients without the use of surgery or prescription drugs. Both my husband and daughter have seen him for specific issues that he has helped resolve for them.
